Agricultural tractor wheels that meet an evolving market
As modern tractors place greater demands on driveline and axle assemblies, we apply advanced manufacturing techniques to produce wheels with optimal balance and structural integrity. Noticing this change, we have designed solutions such as adjustable waffle wheels and fixed wheel options for tractors operating above 40 kph, delivering high-speed performance with flexible track adjustment.
Matching tractor wheels to your tyres
Four measurements determine fitment: rim diameter, rim width, bolt pattern, and disc offset. Understanding these measurements ensures your machinery and operational performance outcomes. Here is how each measurement impacts your wheel and tyre fitment:
Rim Diameter and Width
Diameter measures bead seat to bead seat, not outer edge. Must match the number after R in your tyre size. A 480/80R42 tyre needs a 42-inch rim.
Width measures between inside edges of rim flanges. Each tyre has an approved rim width range in the manufacturer’s fitment chart. Running outside this range distorts the carcass and risks bead failure. IF and VF tyres need rims 1-2 inches wider than standard tyres. Most rims stamp the size on the inner flange.
Bolt Pattern
Count bolt holes and measure pitch circle diameter (PCD) centre to centre. A 6×6 pattern means 6 bolts on a 6-inch circle. Must match your tractor hub exactly.
Disc Offset
Distance from rim centreline to mounting surface. Affects track width and handling. Match factory specs or check with us before fitting a different offset.
Agricultural wheels for every application
We supply agricultural wheels and tyres for every major farming machine, from tractor rims for broadacre utility tractors to aftermarket tractor wheels for older harvesters. Here’s what we cover:
Tractor Wheels: General Utility, Row-Crop and High-Horsepower
Fixed disc for high-HP broadacre work. Manually adjustable for row-crop operations where track width changes seasonally. Dual packages for heavy drawbar, deep ripping, and wet ground. Custom bolt patterns and disc offsets are manufactured in-house. Available in 20-inch to 54-inch diameters.
Orchard and Vineyard Tractors
Narrow fixed or adjustable rims for low-clearance orchard or vineyard tractors working between tree rows. Disc offset is critical, as custom offsets are manufactured to keep tyres clear of stakes and trunks.
Aftermarket Tractor Wheels
Older and discontinued models covered. We manufacture to match original bolt patterns, disc offsets, and rim dimensions. Tractor rims for sale Australia-wide with delivery across all operating regions.
Irrigation Equipment
Wheels rated for continuous operation in high-humidity environments. Corrosion-resistant finish options available for centre pivot and lateral move systems.
Harvesters and Sprayers
Harvesters need precise rim diameter and width matching under heavy seasonal loads. Sprayers need wheels that handle high road speeds and in-crop track width adjustments. High-speed-rated and row-crop narrow configurations are available for both.

Types of agricultural wheels we supply
At OTR Tyres, we manufacture and supply agricultural wheels across 16-inch to 54-inch diameters, covering fixed, adjustable, dual, and row-crop configurations for tractors, harvesters, and sprayers. When considering wheels for your farming machinery, it is important to understand how track width and load capacity affect your selection. Find the wheels for your machinery by browsing our types below:
Fixed Disc Wheels
Fixed wheels weld the disc directly to the rim. No bolted joints. Stronger under torque than adjustable designs. Handle tractors above 400 HP, heavy loads, and sustained road speeds above 40 kph without structural compromise.
Used on high-horsepower tractors, combines, harvesters, and machines doing serious road transport or heavy cultivation across Australian broadacre farms. Track width is fixed. Changing spacing means swapping entire tractor wheels.
Available 16-inch to 54-inch diameters.
Manually Adjustable Track Wheels
Dual wheels mount two wheels side-by-side per axle instead of one, connected by spacers. Doubles the contact area, spreads weight and reduces soil compaction. More rubber on the ground equals better traction in soft or wet conditions and improved stability on steep ground.
Used for heavy drawbar work, deep ripping, cultivation in wet clay, and hill-country operations where stability matters. Increases machine width and adds stress to axles and bearings. King track duals suit tractors up to 400 HP. Above this number, engineered axles or triples are required.
Dual Wheels
Adjustable ag wheels bolt the disc to the rim at multiple positions, giving 4 to 16 different track width settings from a single wheel. Unbolt the disc, reposition to different mounting holes, bolt back on. Changes track width to match row spacing between crops without buying new wheels.
Common on row-crop operations (cotton, vegetables, sugar beet, corn) where spacing changes seasonally. Not suitable for tractors above 400 HP or sustained speeds above 40 kph. A bolted connection creates stress points under heavy torque.
Available in 20-inch to 54-inch diameters. We manufacture waffle-style and ring-style adjustable agricultural wheels.
Row-Crop and Narrow Wheels
Row-crop wheels use narrower rims and agricultural tyres designed to fit between established crop rows without damaging plants. Slim profile passes through rows cleanly. Often paired with high-clearance chassis for in-crop work.
Used on sprayers, cultivators, and high-clearance tractors working cotton, vegetables, or row crops after establishment. Allows in-season spraying, fertilising, and cultivation without wheel damage to crops.
High-Speed Wheels
High-speed wheels feature reinforced construction rated for continuous operation above 40 kph on sealed roads. Heavier welds, thicker steel, are designed for tractors doing long road transport between properties or roadside contracting work.
Available in fixed or adjustable configurations. These suit contractors moving between farms, large properties with sealed internal roads, and council roadside mowing operations.

Ag wheels Frequently Asked Questions
See how our ag tyres can help your farm and harvesting applications by browsing our frequently asked questions below.
What's the Difference Between Fixed and Adjustable Tractor Wheels?
Fixed wheels have a single track width with the disc welded directly to the rim. Adjustable wheels let you change track width by repositioning the disc with bolts, giving you multiple offset options for different row spacings.
Fixed wheels are stronger and suit high-horsepower tractors above 400 HP or high-speed road work above 40 kph. Adjustable wheels suit row-crop operations where track width changes between crops.
When Should I Fit Dual Wheels to My Tractor?
Fit dual wheels when you need better traction, reduced soil compaction, or stability on steep ground. They spread weight over a larger footprint, reducing ground pressure and improving grip in wet or soft conditions. Dual wheels suit heavy tillage, deep cultivation, or high-drawbar work where single tyres struggle for traction. They’re also useful on slopes where stability matters more than manoeuvrability.
How Do I Match a Wheel to My Existing Tractor Tyre?
Match rim diameter first—the number after the R in your tyre size must equal your rim diameter in inches. Then check rim width falls within the tyre manufacturer’s approved range, listed in their fitment charts as recommended or alternate rim widths. Rim width that’s too narrow pinches the sidewalls. Too wide flattens the tread and reduces traction. Check bolt pattern and disc offset match your tractor hub.
What Rim Width Do I Need for My Tyre Size?
Check your tyre manufacturer’s approved rim chart. Each tyre size has a recommended rim width and one or two alternate widths. A 16.9 tyre typically suits a 15-inch rim as recommended or 14-inch as alternate. IF and VF tyres need wider rims than standard tyres of equivalent size, usually 1–2 inches wider. Using a rim outside the approved range causes poor bead seating, uneven wear, and safety risks.
Are King Track Duals Suitable for High-Horsepower Tractors?
King track duals suit tractors up to 400 HP for heavy drawbar work. Above 400 HP, fixed disc wheels or triples are the better option as they handle higher torque and road speeds without the structural limits of bolted adjustable systems. Dual wheels increase axle load and stress on wheel bearings, so tractor axle capacity needs to be checked before fitting them.
What Is a Wheel Assembly?
A wheel assembly is a complete pre-fitted package: tyre mounted and balanced on the rim, ready to bolt onto your tractor. Saves time on-site and ensures correct fitment from the start. Useful for fleet replacements or remote operations where fitting equipment isn’t available.
Can OTR Tyres Supply Tractor Rims for Older Tractors?
Yes. We supply rims for older tractors including discontinued models. Custom fabrication covers odd sizes or obsolete bolt patterns. Bring your existing rim dimensions or tractor model details and we’ll match or manufacture what you need.
Do You Supply Aftermarket Tractor Wheels in Australia?
Yes. We supply aftermarket agricultural wheels Australia-wide, covering fixed, adjustable, and dual configurations from 16-inch to 54-inch diameters. We stock standard fitments and manufacture custom wheels for specific applications. Delivery available across WA, SA, VIC, NSW, and QLD.
How Do I Measure a Tractor Wheel for Replacement?
Measure rim diameter from bead seat to bead seat, not outer edge to outer edge. Measure rim width between the inside edges of the rim flanges. Count bolt holes and measure bolt circle diameter centre-to-centre. Check disc offset from rim centreline to mounting surface. Most rims have size stamped on the inner flange.
Can I Run Different Rim Widths Than the Manufacturer Recommends?
Stay within the manufacturer’s approved rim range listed in their fitment charts. Running outside this range distorts the tyre carcass, causes uneven wear, and risks bead failure under torque. A rim 1–2 inches outside the approved width can demount the tyre in field conditions or cause rim slip. Always use recommended or alternate widths only.
